New director appointments at OrienTax

From 1 March 2018 Péter Kiss and György Boár continue to contribute to the growth and success of OrienTax as directors.

Péter Kiss has been engaged in tax consulting since 2009. He joined OrienTax in 2012, where he served as a manager from 2014 onwards. His expertise includes advising on general taxation processes as well as planning and managing the tax strategy for complex transactions. Among other things, Péter has assisted several multinational companies in the tax support and successful implementation of many R & D projects, development tax incentives, employee incentive programmes, APA applications and restructuring. He has gained wide experience in aggregating and implementing the taxation of large volumes, multi-country transactions.

“As for my Director’s appointment, I aim to help the existing and prospective customers with more customized, tailor-made, practical and proactive approaches to their respective needs. I intend to place emphasis on making customer relationships more efficient by looking at the business as a whole and advise clients on their specific business goals by answering questions regarding the day-to-day business of the company as well as outlining the optimal opportunities that have been studied in many ways” he told about his goals.

György Boár started his professional career at the Budapest tax department of an international consulting firm, where he was a member of the Transactional Tax Advisory Team. He has served as a tax consultant in several tax audits both from the seller’s and that of the buyer’s perspective, international and domestic group restructuring projects, asset transaction projects, financing and refinancing transactions. He joined OrienTax in 2014, where as a manager he has been serving his clients’ individual needs at high quality. He has been focusing mainly on customer relationship management, transaction tax planning, corporate restructuring and tax planning, and tax litigations.

“As a director, my duties will be expanded: my primary task will be beside strengthening our market position to develop our customer and international relations, and to the encouragement of further product development,” he said. “I am proud that I have been part of the dynamic development of OrienTax in the recent years and I am confident that in my new position I will be able to help the team and contribute to our customers’ business successes.”
