Three Months Deferral on Compulsory Invoice Data Supply

A three-month grace period will be given to taxpayers, to use the 2.0 version of the Online Invoice System due to the coronavirus crisis.

According to the information published on the Tax Authority’s website, the National Tax and Customs Administration will not terminate version 1.1 of the Online Invoice System and will not require the use of 2.0 XDS version as of 1 April 2020.

This ensures that the continuity of mandatory reporting is fully achieved by all taxpayers, without the need for technical operations that may require a personal presence due to the changeover.

The new deadline is July 1, 2020. In the meantime, businesses will be able to meet their reporting obligations in the usual way. At the same time, the Tax Authority calls on those who can do so to switch to the new system at the earliest.
